Italian Pilsner results from our continued, iterative focus on lager brewing. Inspired by the modern development of Tipopils by Agostino Arioli, founder of Birrificio Italiano in Como, Italy, our version features classic lager yeast, a Pilsner malt backbone, and dry-hop treatment of Sterling. After extended conditioning in our horizontal tanks, Italian Pilsner pours a striking straw yellow with slight haze, unleashing a beautiful aromatic bouquet of doughy malt alongside bright citrus and grassy hop character. These flavors follow on the palate, with a firm bitterness, balanced sweetness, and refreshing finish.
