Sombra Ensamble is a limited-edition blend of wild & rare Tepeztate & Tobala agave, harvested from high in the Oaxacan Sierra. On the nose it has a vegetal and citrus aroma with hints of honey and pepper. On the palate there are notes of cake icing, tobacco, orange peel and salted caramel which lead into a luxuriously long finish. Recognizing our finite and precious resources, only 2,000 bottles of Sombra Ensamble were created.

Sombra is a handcrafted, award-winning mezcal made in Santiago Matatl n, Oaxaca, Mexico since 2006. Sombra is one of a few mezcal brands that owns and operates its own palenque – ensuring consistent quality, supply and environmentally friendly production methods. Each step of Sombra’s production, from fermentation to distillation, has been reimagined to reduce its environmental impact.
