Commercial Description:

With our new LICHTENHAINER WEISSE (10.9P), we want to revive the almost extinct sour beer tradition of Jena. We followed the definition of this old Thuringian beer style and have brewed a tangy, top-fermented beer with a slightly sour yet smoky taste and a light yellow color. The result is a light, easy-drinking beer with a velvety-soft acidity and a subtle smoky character. It is reminiscent of a beautiful summer evening around the bonfire.
