Commercial Description:

Deerhammer Gin is first and foremost, a labor of love. Our dedicated, grain-to-glass approach begins with the same spirit base as our flagship Single Malt Whiskey: 100% malted barley. As for Dutch Style, its the use of barley that classifies this spirit as an old schoolgenever, providing a gentler pine flavor than mainstream, juniper-heavy gins.

After mashing, fermenting and distilling, the infusion of 15 unique botanicals shapes the spirit: Juniper Berries,Coriander, Orris Root, Chicory, Coconut, Grapefruit, Star Anise, Grains of Paradise, Hibiscus, Cardamom, Mint, Cloves, Cacao Nibs, Cassia, Lime.

The result is a nuanced, complex profile explicitly crafted to defy the rough menthol notes too often associated with this spirit. We particularly like enjoying it in a campfire cocktail, breathing in the crisp, clean air of the Colorado pines.
