Brianne Day has been one of our favorite Oregon winemakers since she began producing wines under her own label a decade ago. She excels with Alsatian and Germanic white varietals (but dont sleep on her Pinot Noirs, either), which are used to great effect in this skin-contact white blend. The LOrange combines Pinot Gris, Riesling, Mller-Thurgau and Gewrztraminer, and while these grapes often are used to produce sweet wines, this is a bone-dry but still fruity orange wine. Aromas of orange blossom and rose petal lead to flavors of kumquat and mango, with a crisp and refreshing profile.
