Commercial Description:

Casa Maestri was founded by Michael and Cecelia Maestri who moved from Houston, Texas to Jalisco, Mexico to found Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. The agave is selected for high sugar content and baked in traditional stone ovens in an effort to craft authentic and high-quality tequila. They use small-batch, pot still method of distillation.

Tasting Notes

Nose:Medium oak wood, vanilla and raisins with faint hint of citrus.

Palate:Smooth and sweet. Distinct oak wood complemented by vanilla, raisins and honey, with a hint of melon.

Finish:Caramel and smoky notes.
