ThisTempranillo, refined for4 months in twotypes ofbarriques,is our first organic wine from the DO Cigales in the north-west of Spain, which is not so well known to us.On the nose,ripe dark fruits, especiallyblackberriesandsour cherries, afine violetnote and subtle, earthy notes.In the mouth, ripe notes of dark fruits, elegantly accompanied by complex hints ofvanilla,coconut,liquorice,butterscotch,coffeeandchocolate.Ripe tannins with fine wood and a pleasantly lively and persistent finish.A wine that pleases immediately and at the same time has a balanced complexity that reflects the special terroir of the DO Cigales.
