This XO Rum has a hypnotic aroma of roasted honey, pure vanilla, royal toffee, mature oak, and parfait caramel. In the mouth it is extremely smooth, with a range of exquisite flavours starting with fudge, intense vanilla, parfait caramel, and Colombian coffee. A persistent finish balanced with light oak, sweetness, and strength. Long rich finish. Aged in a combination of once used casks from Jerez, ex-bourbon, and Port barrels for 25-35 years. This XO rum is removed from the barrels a minimum of three times during the ageing process to caramelize a small amount of the rum and the sugar coating the inside of the barrel.
