Optant is a Pilsner lovingly inspired from our brewers ancestral homeland, Metz in the heart of French Alsace. The name references those who kept French citizenship following the Franco-Prussian war. For this Pilsner, luckily we have a little from both sides of the divide: Heirloom German malt, and glorious French Alsatian hops. Bracingly crisp with delicate minerality and a touch of bitterness. Lively exquisite herbal and citrus aromas linger in this classic and effervescent continental Pils.
