FINISH: The only setback for this barrel proof rye is that the big spicy finish you hope for with a stellar rye doesnt stick around long, but the tail of it sticks around awhile as it fades. This bottle is 3 years old and around 100 proof, while the newest releases are 4 years old and closer to 115. I am excited to try some of the higher proof bottles to see if the punch is more pronounced.

A traditional three-grain recipe is 56 percent rye, 33 percent corn and 11 percent malted barley. Our rye mash bill is one we created for a broader balance of flavor to offset the typical high ryes commonly found.
