Tequila Primo 1861 is a tribute to Pedro Camarena, founder of the first tequila distillery in Arandas, Jalisco. His distillery was burned down during the Mexican Revolution and all that remains is the tahona stone that stands proudly nowadays.
This exclusive bottle was barreled in French/American Oak for 61 days in new barrels. French Oak bodies and American Oak heads. It has a 44% ABV.
This single barrel Reposado was hand picked by Tequila Aficionado Jay Baer.
