Mars Komagatake Limited Edition 2020, is a small batch blend of single malts distilled then aged in ex-Bourbon casks in Shinshu in the distillery’s cellars, nestled at an altitude of 800 meters in a natural setting in central Japan.

Mars Komagatake Limited Edition 2020, is a small batch blend of single malts distilled then aged in ex-Bourbon casks in Shinshu in the distillery’s cellars, nestled at an altitude of 800 meters in a natural setting in central Japan. Inspired by the surrounding nature, the Master Blender of the House has succeeded in creating a whisky with an astonishingly rich and complex profile.

Its nose reveals a gourmet flight of flavours with notes of plum jam, acacia honey and vanilla, joined on the palate by citrus, orange blossom and cocoa aromas. It is with elegance and subtlety that this expression disappears, prefiguring the style of future Komagatake single malts.

Mars Whisky has been perfecting its Komagatake single malt since 2018, and presents a version of it in this 2020 limited edition. It features the typical characteristics of Komagatake: an elegant, rich and oily whisky.
