Philip Dunn,the award-winning wine director atSpago Beverly Hills, named Millinery Gin after his great-grandmother Mary Summerlin who worked as a cigar binder in Savannah, Georgia and was a dancer and theater performer. Family lore has it that she enjoyed great hats and the occasional cocktail, so her likeness in a derby hat adorns the decoinspired label.
